Personal data (hereinafter referred to mostly as “data”) is processed by us only to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website, including its contents and the services offered there.

II. Rights of users and data subjects
With regard to the data processing described in more detail below, users and data subjects have the right
- to confirmation as to whether data concerning them is being processed, to information about the data being processed, to further information about the data processing and to copies of the data (see also Art. 15 GDPR);
- to rectification or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data (see also Art. 16 GDPR);
- to immediate erasure of the data concerning them (see also Art. 17 GDPR), or, alternatively, where further processing is required pursuant to Art. 17 para. 3 GDPR, to restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR;
- to receive the data concerning them and provided by them, and to transmit this data to other providers/controllers (see also Art. 20 GDPR);
- to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if they are of the opinion that the data concerning them is being processed by the provider in violation of data protection regulations (see also Art. 77 GDPR).
Furthermore, the provider is obliged to inform all recipients to whom data has been disclosed by the provider of any rectification or erasure of data or restriction of processing carried out pursuant to Articles 16, 17 para. 1 and 18 GDPR. This obligation does not apply, however, where such notification is impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. Notwithstanding this, the user has the right to information about these recipients.
Users and data subjects also have the right pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR to object to the future processing of data concerning them, provided that the data is processed by the provider in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to the processing of data for the purpose of direct marketing is permissible.
III. Information on data processing
Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies, the deletion of the data is not precluded by any statutory retention obligations, and no other information to the contrary is provided below regarding individual processing procedures.
Server data
For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted by your internet browser to us or to our web hosting provider. With these so-called server log files, the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you accessed our website (referrer URL), the website(s) of our website that you visit, the date and time of the respective access, and the IP address of the internet connection from which our website is used are collected, among other things.
The data collected in this way is temporarily stored, but not together with other data about you.
This storage is based on the legal basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality and security of our website.
The data is deleted after seven days at the latest, unless further retention is required for evidentiary purposes. In that case, the data is wholly or partially exempt from deletion until the final clarification of an incident.

Newsletter
If you sign up for our free newsletter, the data requested from you for this purpose – namely your email address and, optionally, your name and address – will be transmitted to us. At the same time, we store the IP address of the internet connection from which you access our website, as well as the date and time of your registration. As part of the further registration process, we will obtain your consent to receive the newsletter, describe its content in specific terms and refer you to this privacy policy. The data collected in this way is used exclusively for sending the newsletter – it is therefore not passed on to third parties.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.
You may revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time with effect for the future pursuant to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR. To do so, you simply need to notify us of your revocation or click the unsubscribe link contained in every newsletter.
Contact requests / contact options
If you contact us via contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your enquiry. Providing this data is necessary for processing and responding to your enquiry – without it we are unable to answer your enquiry, or can only do so to a limited extent.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.
Your data will be deleted once your enquiry has been conclusively answered and there are no statutory retention obligations preventing deletion, such as in the case of any subsequent contract processing.
Competitions
We offer you the opportunity to participate in competitions via our website. If you participate in one of our competitions, the data you enter when participating will be processed without your further consent, but naturally only for the purpose of conducting and handling the respective competition.
In the course of handling the competition, we pass on your data to the transport company commissioned with the delivery of goods or to a financial service provider, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery or payment of your prize. If your data is to be published in the event of a win, you will be informed of this in the consent declaration.
The legal basis for the transfer of data in this case is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.
You may revoke your consent to the processing of your data for participation in our competitions at any time with effect for the future pursuant to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR. To do so, you simply need to notify us of your revocation.

Social media links via graphic or text link
We also promote presences on the social networks listed below on our website. The integration is done via a linked graphic of the respective network. Only by clicking on the corresponding graphic is the user redirected to the service of the respective social network.
After the user has been redirected, information about the user is collected by the respective network. It cannot be ruled out that the data collected in this way may be processed in the USA.
This initially includes data such as IP address, date, time and the page visited. If the user is logged into their user account on the respective network at the time, the network operator may be able to assign the collected information from the user's specific visit to their personal account. If the user interacts via a "share" button of the respective network, this information may be stored in the user's personal account and potentially published. If the user wishes to prevent the collected information from being directly assigned to their user account, they must log out before clicking on the graphic. We use YouTube in conjunction with the “Extended Data Protection Mode” function in order to be able to show you videos. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website. According to YouTube, the “Extended Data Protection Mode” function means that the data described in more detail below is only transmitted to the YouTube server if you actually start a video.
Without this “Extended Data Protection”, a connection to the YouTube server in the USA is established as soon as you access one of our web pages on which a YouTube video is embedded.
This connection is necessary in order to display the respective video on our website via your internet browser. In the course of this, YouTube will at minimum collect and process your IP address, the date and time, and the website you visited. A connection to Google's “DoubleClick” advertising network is also established.

To optimise the loading speed, design and display of the content of our website on different devices, we use the service BootstrapCDN, a content delivery network (“CDN”), on our website. jQuery CDN

jQuery CDN, a content delivery network (“CDN”), on our website. This is a service of the jQuery Foundation, hereinafter referred to only as “jQuery”. jQuery is distributed for the JS Foundation via the StackPath CDN.
In order to deliver the content of our website quickly, the service uses so-called JavaScript libraries. Corresponding files are loaded from the CDN server, unless they are already present in your browser cache from a visit to another website. When a connection is made to the CDN server, your IP address is recorded. It cannot be ruled out that a connection to a server outside the EU may be established.

Cookiebot
We use “Cookiebot” as our cookie banner. “Cookiebot” is a product of Cybot A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark, hereinafter referred to as “Cybot”.
Through the “Cookiebot” function, we inform users about the use of cookies on the website and enable them to make a decision about their use.
If the user gives their consent to the use of cookies, the following data is automatically logged by Cybot:
• The anonymised IP number of the user;
• Date and time of consent;
• Browser user agent of the end user;
• The URL of the provider;
• An anonymous, random and encrypted key;
• The user's accepted cookies (cookie status), which serves as proof of consent.
The encrypted key and the cookie status are stored on the user's device by means of a cookie in order to establish the corresponding cookie status for future page visits. This cookie is automatically deleted after 12 months.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the user-friendliness of the website and in compliance with the statutory requirements of the GDPR.
The user can prevent or discontinue the installation of the cookie and its storage, and thereby their cookie consent, at any time via their browser settings.

Google AdWords with conversion tracking
We use the Google AdWords advertising component and so-called conversion tracking on our website. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to only as “Google”.
We use conversion tracking for the targeted promotion of our offering. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our website.
If you click on an advertisement placed by Google, the conversion tracking we use stores a cookie on your device. These so-called conversion cookies expire after 30 days and do not serve to personally identify you.
If the cookie is still valid and you visit a specific page on our website, both we and Google can evaluate that you have clicked on one of our advertisements placed with Google and that you were subsequently redirected to our website.
Using the information obtained in this way, Google compiles statistics for us about visits to our website. We also receive information about the number of users who have clicked on our advertisement(s) and the pages of our website subsequently accessed. Neither we nor third parties who also use Google AdWords are thereby able to identify you in this way.

Microsoft Bing Ads
We use Bing Ads on our website for remarketing and conversion tracking. This is a service of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA, hereinafter referred to only as “Microsoft”, which uses so-called Universal Event Tracking (UET).
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our website.
If you click on an advertisement placed by us on the “Bing” internet search engine, Microsoft stores a tracking cookie on your device via your internet browser. This tracking cookie expires after 180 days and does not serve to personally identify you. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, both Microsoft and we can recognise that you clicked on an advertisement placed by us on Bing and were redirected from there to our website.
Microsoft uses the information collected via the tracking cookie to compile visit statistics for us. We thereby receive information about the number of accesses to the advertisements we have placed on Bing as well as the pages of our website subsequently accessed. We do not, however, receive any information that would allow us to personally identify you.

If you sign up for our newsletter, the data requested during the registration process, such as your email address and, optionally, your name and address, will be processed by The Rocket Science Group. In addition, your IP address and the date and time of your registration will be stored. As part of the further registration process, your consent to receive the newsletter will be obtained, the content will be described in specific terms and reference will be made to this privacy policy.
The newsletter subsequently sent via The Rocket Science Group also contains a so-called tracking pixel, also known as a web beacon.
